The Ministry of Industry and Trade needed a new identity that could represent a large government institution both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
We developed a logo based on the historic cupola of the ministry's headquarters in Prague. The logo uses a network of intersecting lines wrapped around a three-dimensional globe. The symbol connects the ministry's history with its role in an interconnected world.
We developed the visual system and a detailed manual for its use across the ministry. The work covered stationery, official documents, internal ministry documents, print publications, digital presentations, the ministry website, building signage and other ministry applications.
From 2011, the identity represented the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Czech Republic and abroad. It was used at international trade shows and during visits by foreign officials and ministers.
The identity withstood 15 years, 7 governments and 9 ministers. It remained in use until 2026, when the Czech government introduced a unified visual identity for central government institutions.
