We created the logo, identity, packaging, stationery and promotional materials for A4Africa, a Ghana based office paper company. It started with one product: affordable, good quality A4 paper for the local market.
The challenge was to stand out from established international suppliers. The brand also needed a strong connection to Africa. The identity uses simple geometric references to Africa and A4 paper. A bold red, grey and white palette gives it a strong presence. The packaging also carried the company’s mission: to create lasting products and services that honour and empower Africans.
The identity was built to grow beyond paper. We extended it across stationery and promotional materials. Some of these were aimed at schools and educational institutions. The system gave a young company a clear and professional presence.
The project is a good example of branding for a young business with a social purpose. The goal was not only to sell paper. It was to connect a simple product with a bigger idea about education, entrepreneurship and local economic growth.
