Anniversary Bonsai Exhibition at Bratislava Castle

In 2026, Danubius Bonsai Klub celebrated its 40th anniversary with a major exhibition at Bratislava Castle. The club was founded in 1986 and is the oldest bonsai club in Slovakia.

We developed the visual identity for the exhibition. The work included posters, invitations, signage, social media graphics, press release graphics, and other event materials. We also directed and edited the promotional video. We designed a commemorative trophy and diploma for the club's former chairperson.

The main idea was to put the club members at the center of the exhibition. We placed their names in a circle around a bonsai and integrated the number 40 into the tree. Each member was named on the main poster and became part of the exhibition identity. This unusual typography solution gave the club a stronger visual presence than its recent exhibitions.

The exhibition received significant media interest. It was covered by Slovakia's main television channel prime time news and in Slovak print media. The Japanese ambassador joined the opening ceremony.
